I don't mean the stuff which is just crap, I mean stuff that has an unmanly affect on me. I get chocked up with a couple of things.

Bonnie Tyler's "I need a hero" it makes me think of the end of Short Circuit 2, I love that movie and thats one of the best scene's in it. "Oscaar you will not get away. I'm really pissed off!" "Suuuuuuure, kidnap the humans, destroy the machine!". Whenever I hear that song I re-live watching that scene and get chocked up, not something I want to happen in a public place. I'm making this topic because it was on the radio today and it almost got me as it usually does, it's a fight for my manishness.

Keith West's "Excerpt from a Teenage Opera". It's when the kids sing, their innocents of not really knowing what happened to Grocer Jack "Grocer Jack, Grocer Jack, is it true what Mummy said, you won't come back. oh no, oh no." "Grocer Jack, Grocer Jack, get off your back, go into town, don't let them down, oh no, oh no.". Thank fully it only comes on the radio at work fairly rarely but it still happens enough, sooner or later I'm going to slip up when it's playing I know it, and it will be at the worst time I'm sure.

it's a great great song absolute classic. unfortunately you can sound like your batting for the wrong team if you sing it unless of course you are a girl which in that case cool. i love the 'oo ooo oo oooo oo oo oo' end bit where you just want it to keep going.
bonnie tyler was a bit of a milf back in the day. i notice lots of people don't know who it's by and quite often know it as 'hero' but it's actually 'holding out for a hero'.
It also featured in the classic 80's movie 'Footloose' which - yes you've guessed it is being remade. who the flying dolphins thought that was a good idea should be dragged into the street and chuck norris roundhoused back to the 80's. dear hollywood please stop desicrating my film memories!

Yeah I didn't know who's song it was, I just googled some of the words. I'm musically ignorant so I don't know who sang a lot of famous stuff and people look at me funny. I wasn't sure what it was called either, I need a hero was the first thing that came up, I was the Holding out for a hero as well but I had already written the other thing and was a bit tired.
