lol it is quite genuine though. I was in the Mech Warrior Online closed beta and you had to agree to a NDA which specifically mentioned you couldn't tell people you were in it!

This is the first video I’ve seen, there was a massive confidentiality agreement tied to the beta so I assume it's been officially leaked. Textures aren’t as high res as screenshots have led us to believe, looks a bit like RoM to me and that’s a few year old now, I don’t see anything that will lift this above other mmorpg’s out there apart from Elder Scrolls law.

I’m on the fence at the moment I’ve not played a proper mmorpg for a while, I did download LOTR the other day only to find my old character was killed off in some massive server transfer, So I’ll be keeping an eye on this.

monthly fee. micro transactions and dlc. could workout quite an expensive.

I was getting into this but very much on the fence now there is both a fee and micro transactions.

I can't see myself being able to find the time to get sucked into this, I've got a lot on my plate at the moment with work related commitments and other projects. You never know though, I do like the game and it has some nice mechanics and shows a lot of promise.

If they are going to charge us the earth, then this had better be the best MMO out there. What I expect to see is it going free to play quite soon after release like a lot of MMO's do.

I have heard that Bethesda don't have a good history with online games, can't remember where, there was a youtube video with the history of Bethesda I think.

Free to play within a year then horse armour at £10 a pop.

Just watched Angry Joe playing the beta, sounds like the game is going to be a pretty poor massively over priced MMO. The guys playing basically that it's a boring version of Skyrim and makes you want to play Skyrim.

I'm certain this game is going to fail hard, they've overly trusted that people want to play an MMO Skyrim.

Hmm Angry Joes video was made private, I guess he made a mistake in it or there was some other problem. There was a repeated bit at the end but I thought he was just showing it because it summed up what's wrong with the game.

I might give this a try when it becomes a free to play game, and it will I see no other way it will survive.

The ESO NDA has been lifted

Watched the PvP video on Angry Joes channel, that actually looks pretty awesome. Don't think I'd pay all that money just for that still though.

I've just got an invite that starts Friday. I get a monkey too.

I’ve got a Bubbles too, not having done this before is there a server choice? Would be handy if we chose the same one.

In the previous tests there's only been one server available so don't alter anything server wise, it should be set up for you. You will however start in different locations depending on your race and Alliance choice

I also have a spare beta key if anyone wants it.

Also, start downloading and installing the launcher as soon as you can, it's a big download needing about 60 GB free to complete. The game itself is about 30 but it needs another 30 to decompress the files once its downloaded.

Sorry just a quickie I've not looked into this at all yet, do characters get wiped after the beta?

Oh and Ta for the download tip I need to do some server housekeeping

Alliance choice I've not even considered that, I wont have the time to do any homework on this just choose me an alliance and race and I'll go with it.
