Nice screens Stony, I didn't know morrowind now works with the download manager.

I've got my finges crossed it will get the 75% off treatment on steam.

Morrowind may be an old game, and to be honest until you add texture mods it looks pretty bad by todays standards but it`s actual gameplay mechanics are far superior to Oblivion or Skyrim. The game play is much slower paced and deeper and you get sucked right into the world. It`s also very rewarding to mod too Smile

Once that price drop I'll get it.

I've also got New Vegas to play about with now, plan on getting few graphical mods as well as the comunity patches right from the start.

I know but I must have a bit of Scottish in me, they have Oblivion goty up for £8.99, compared to last year when I paid £6.80 so I recon they can go lower.

Thanks I’m well chuffed, but I did nothing apart from follow a few simple instructions.

I started adding mods with bash & nmm but then spotted “Morrowind Sounds and Graphics Overhaul” and thought it sounded like a lot of gain for little effort, I was also very skeptical but could only find positive feedback from those that managed to get it working, So did a clean install and followed a video to make sure it Installed correctly, only took about 2 hours. (it was a slow video)

From what I gather it only came out at the end 2011 and is a compilation of some of the best mods from the last 10 years.

I’m still pinching myself, I wanted to play this again but never imagined it would look and sound like this.

I`ve never actually tried that overhaul but it does look impressive. I`m not usually a fan of " multi mods " but MSGO does get very good reviews.

Really nice shots, well done. You could try lowering your distant land setting in MGE, if they are too high it will cripple your frame rate and really overwork your graphics card.

Think the problem was I had the posh fog setting on (cant remember what its called) so switched back to the pixel one and it’s behaving better, I’d already lowered the distant land from default 11 to 5 and disabled a shader or two, I think the fans going mad is down to the ambient temperature of the room (it’s flippin hot down south!) I monitored the gpu last night and it was peeking at 83c with an average of 75 so that’s ok, I was just surprised that this is stressing my machine more than graphic intensive games like Batman AC & Crysis 2.

Btw on a side note, Fallout NV even with intensive graphic mods hardly brakes a sweat the gpu stays at about 65 no matter what I through at it, I had to check the fans were working. Shocked
