Character Creation

Woah that copy right thing is really evil.

The main issue only occurs if you crop your images, by default any images taken ingame will have the copyright notice already attached to the image, so if you do any cropping make sure the Sega logo is visible.

i don't get it, what's the point in this ?

It`s a bit of a teaser really.

how do I do the english patch thingy? me no understand pc stuff, me console man.

Install the character creator and then copy the files from the patch into :wherever you installed \PHANTASYSTARONLINE2_CHARACTERCREATOR\pso2charactercreator_bin\data\win32

when I say "me no understand pc stuff, me console man" I'm being serious, I opened the folder with the character creator and found a "bin" line and just dragged the english patch into it. Now I've just got an empty folder. Can you be a bit more detailed?

It`s a tricky install if you`re not computer savvy as the installer is in Japenese. I`m pretty busy until Sunday but I`ll post a pictorial guide on how to get this installed then.

Ahahahaha. Just tried the benchmark test on my laptop and got 56. Oh dear lord I need to upgrade. On a related note it doesn't like windows xp hence I didn't use my desktop.

Okay here we go

After downloading and extracting your character creator you should have 2 files, click the .exe file



Click the highlighted button



click the small radio button, then click the middle button



choose where you want to install the CC using the requester then click the middle button



click the button



then keep clicking the middle button until the game installs, thats the CC installed, now for the English patch.

Extract the English patch, select the 3 files and right click and copy



Navigate back to where you installed the CC and select the following folder sequence







When you get here, right click in an empty part of the screen and select paste



This requester will pop up, click the selected option, you need to do this three times



Thats it all done, launch the CC by clicking this button



On this screen select the big blue button



Accept the terms and you`re good to go, have fun

Had to lower all the games graphic settings and still only hit a benchmark score of 89
So it looks like i'll need to at least upgrade the desktop to windows 7. Heck thats showing its age now too so might just go build a new one if I can scrounge the money together for it

Impressive number of option I have to say in the creator, looks like we'll be spending hours making characters again

I`m not too impressed with the Cast creation to be honest. I`ve been playing around for a few days and cant come up with anything that say`s "Thats Stoney". Though a FOCast does sound interesting
