There’s a good reason why the incar & bonnet view are preferred…. You don’t have to look at the awful car modelling! It’s very noticeable when you come up behind traffic, at a stand still it looks very last gen with blocky buildings and flat textures, TDU1 was the same, but a few years down the line we expect better.
Out in the open it’s ok, I caught myself stopping to admire the view more than once, it’s nice but not jaw dropping, the weather affects are alright and the transition from day to night is probably the best part.

The handlings ok, nothing to shout about it dose the job, no rubber banding in the races which is good, but it dose mean if you pull out a lead then there isn’t much of a challenge, I’m on the normal difficulty not tried moving it up yet.
Have test driven a few A1 cars, their very twitchy and will spin out and donut like F1 in the wet on slicks! Not fun at all, certainly doesn’t encourage me to progress to the A1 licence.

the social scene doesn’t do anything for me, though its quite funny seeing wooden avatars lagging around the showrooms. Oh and the voice acting is appalling.

After a few hours I've a niggling feeling in the back of my mind that I’m wasting my time and could be using it on a descent game, I’ll probably plod on though at least until there is something descent to trade it against.

I don't think it's actually working as intended yet, I haven't managed a game of poker in the casino anyway. The main game does seem a bit of a plod atm, but I'm going to stick with it for a bit and build up my houses and cars and see what the online stuff is like.

This game sucks donkey balls. The handling is terrible. The time trials are way to hard to be fun. The casino never works and the cars look like they're running on a zx spectrum. I got so mad I made a thread on the official forums, got 77 replies and 2,000 views too.

I haven't played anything else all week though.

You don't seem to have played this much Vis. If you're finding the handling a bit of a put off, I've found this set up which works quite well.
