Can`t wait for this complete with new in house graphics engine.
Hopefully that will get rid of a load of bugs that plagues Fallout NV.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim
I`m reserving judgement on this "new inhouse" graphics engine until we see some actual game footage.I`m guessing its going to be an internal development of the Gamembryo engine that Beth is so fond of..We`ll just have to wait and see

It`s been confirmed that the trailer was taken from the 360 so expect much better graphics for the pc version...especially when guys like us get hold of the SDK

Looking forward to this though I’m avoiding reading to much but you just know it’s going to be a quality product.
Undecided about what format to go for, it will all depend on the specs for PC.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim
This game doesn't need multiplayer but co-op would be very cool. I think I'll be getting it when it comes out. Of course Minecraft comes out on the same day so it will be a tough choice which I get.

I was expecting a pi$$ take but no that was a good honest interview, the guy answering the questions certainly knows his stuff he didn't bat an eyelid, probably already answered them 100 times before.
This had better live up to expectations

Why? there must be a way??
I was against steam and I think that was largely down to the trouble you’ve had with it, but now I use it I don’t have a problem.
I like the auto patching and that you can install the game on any computer any number of times and carry on from were you left off due to the back up saves on steam cloud, doesn’t work with mods tho

Re: The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim
The first is similar to what we've seen already, but the second is the first bit of dungeon crawling I’ve seen.
This is beginning to look like the perfect game.
But I have a dilemma, I know this should be a PC purchase, but the one thing I haven’t figured out on my PC is 5.1 surround, my onboard is capable but I haven’t the output on the back. So I may well go xbox and pick up PC later once the mods kick in.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim
You could always play the game on console Dark, but of course no mods there.
I think pretty much every PC game from now on will use something like Steam if they don't use Steam itself. If you want to continue gaming on PC I don't think you'll have a choice but to use Steam or like I said something like it. It sucks but I understand why games companies are doing it.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim
I`m not going to get into the whole Steam argument suffice to say that all recent Steam releases have been "available" within a day of release.

I was just pointing out as a protection system, Steam is pretty much a failure.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim
Finally got the 5.1 surround sorted on the PC so I’ve gone and put in a preorder, this is the first time I’ve chosen pc over console for a new game, It’s a mementos big step for me away from the security of pop in a disk and play.
