I think maybe you are an episode infront of me. Enjoying it rush is still the main man by far but nobody annoys me (Well ok the blond christian soldier) and I like that odd black soldier, he's not stereotypical and they don't over use him, or make him unrealistic like that dreadlock guy from Atlantis.

apparently this will get a second series due in september in the us.
things were starting to look so hopeless in the last three episodes i was begining to think the show was gonna get axed. i wonder if they're gonna kill off any of the main characters, as it stands it could be any of them.
i've been enjoyin it although it does make you wonder i mean it's just not as good as the original, why on earth they canned SG1 and Atlantis is beyond me. enjoyable stuff none the less

I think I missed the last episode, I think the recording was bad and I deleted it meaning to record the repeat and then forgot. I guess I'll have to look for it on the net.

I was interested in the series up to the point of the ship leaving the universe and leaving people behind, missed the next episode so I have no idea how they got back. My I haven't minded it but I'm not too concerned about the invasion thing.

Last nights was interesting but I've been expecting the return of those people for a while and it was a bit of a let down, I was expecting more from their return than that. Can't really remember the first episode may have missed it, don't think so though, I do think I missed the last or second to last episode because that last thing I remember was the solar rays (Or something) killing a guy.

The rest of the cast has become more interesting, its not just a one man show. Rush is still the main character of interest though. Chloe I don't like, I'm hoping whatever is happening with her would hurry up, there are some nice moments like her with Greer this week, that was mostly down to him though. Greer is my favourite character next to Rush, I like how he plays the role of a soldier.

Turns out I did record all the new episodes, there were just 2 so far.

It's ok so far, nothing overly interesting though. Another is on tonight, looks interesting, I don't think I'll leave it so long before watching it this time.

It says it's still series 2, I don't know if it's always been the case because I don't normally notice, but american tv shows seem to be taking long breaks in the middle of a series, I don't know why they do that they should just call it the end of the series when they take that break, because thats what it is.

The episode on the 2nd of May was good, I'm going to shift to a spoiler now though it's not much of a spoiler

    Spoiler:

I think Greer might be the best super soldier character StarGate have had. He's not a show off who would be gunned down in a moment like the dreadlock guy from Atlantis, he has an invulnerable attitude but is as brittle as the other characters. Teal'c is of course an icon so I don't think I would say Greer is better but there's a higher level of curiosity there and I want to know more about his character.

I did a search on google just now to check that I got Greer's name right and saw a few links saying SGU has been cancelled and won't get a third series. Balls.

i agree about greer, and i've come to like most of the characters.

i thought the second series was fantastic. i really enjoyed it.

it's an absolute disgrace that they've cancelled it.
oh well at least they made a decent job of the final episode.

Yeah it was a good ending and I'm glad they left it open to being continued, if the idiots that cancelled it realise they made a mistake and bring it back. I've heard it got bad ratings because it was put in a bad spot on america's Syfi channel. Maybe they will do one of those movies to give it a complete ending, but then again I don't think they've done that with Atlantis yet, so I'm not holding my breath, this was better than Atlantis and I think it was one of the most ground up Star Gate shows, it was more about the acting and the people than the action and special effects. It's a real shame it ended so soon.
