    Pretty sure nobody else on here is going to get this but I've ordered it, may have noticed with other posts that I've gotten back into wrestling, not nearly as much as I did when I watched WcW. To be honest I fast forward most of the show till the interesting stuff happens.

    It comes out this Friday, or tomorrow if you are in America. The pre-order get's you The Rock as a playable character, I wasn't that bothered about having him in the game but I wanted the game at release anyway so why not.

    It's been about 8 years since I last bought a wrestling game, the last one was on the Gamecube, Day of Reconning or something, I stopped buying them after that because when they moved to a new gen of consoles they dumped a tonne of features that the old games had, the games were going backwards, and the quality wasn't good, WWE No Mercy on the N64 is the best wrestling game ever made.

    Most of the names I use were made for custom chars in wrestling games, so for Fenon this is a home coming.

    I don't think I'll be buying them every year, but it will be nice to see how far things have come, this new game looks like it has a tonne of features and generally looks pretty good. Belt's look a bit crap but you can't have everything (But how hard can it be to make a belt really?).


    Oh and yes I'm buying this instead of Skyrim this month.

    Bleeding heck, I knew the post would take forever today... Oh it just turned up as I was writing that. I should have written it sooner.... The other day the post arrived at 7am, today it was about 12:20pm. Just installing the launch day patch.

    I was looking on Gamefaqs earlier to see what the hidden chars are, there were none that I really cared about, but further down the post it listed future DLC and in January they should be releasing a pack with THE MACHO MAN! It's supposed to be free DLC as well, thing is I would pay for that, I don't even know if I could put a price on it. I would begrudge giving the WWE money for the Macho Man when he was not treated as well as he should have been but I wouldn't have been able to resist buying it.

    In a video I was watching earlier the game did not look too good.

    The last time I played a wrestling game they were not online, and though I'm sure it extends the life of the game, I'm sure most people I will play with will only be interested in winning the match, not playing the part of a wrestler, so I doubt I'll go online with it much.

    Yep it's pretty good, didn't actually get to play the game for over 2 hours as I started by making 1 of my chars, I only managed to do his looks in that hour, it takes a long time. The create a finisher mode is brilliant, shame it wasn't expanded into the normal moves too but you can't have everything, maybe in 10 years time they will have added that. The custome logo mode is good as well, but whats better for those that are lazy is that you can go online and download a logo that you want, for example I wanted a nWo logo but it's a bit complex and I can't be arsed, so right now I'm online trying to download it. The created characters that are online look almost exactly like their real world selves as well it's pretty impressive, I've always been anti making real people in these games because they never look right, but I'm turned now.

    There's a create a storyline mode as well so you can be the booker and make the events yourself and decide what happens, or just let the computer fight between itself to see who wins and create storylines based on that.

    The game has quite a few bugs, and it's very hard to fight back if you start lossing.

    I'm doing a WcW Revival gimmick on the game at the moment, it's not a new idea but I sort of dislike the WcW being used by the WWE so I want to take it off of them. However I also like that they haven't just thrown it away, and it has a place of honour. Oh something else that I really like is that they have included WcW stuff in the game so if I really wanted to I could make a load of WcW stuff and play only with that, pretending that WcW didn't die. Yeah I'm not going to do that but I do still like the revival thing.
