WOW

I've been playing a bit of wow now that the new expansion is out. I thought I'd check how long I'd actually spent playing the game and I've clocked up 70 days on my main alone. That's 70 x 24 hours.

Thats, a lot (I suspect you've only had the game 70 days as well).

I'm going to try another trial on WoW soon see what it's like in 3D and all.

I'm all in greens and blues atm because of the new expansion. I miss all my purple "wellfare" epics.

I wondered what the ehll you were talking about then, greens and blues, just remembered thats how items are ranked on WoW.

Make a character on Bloodfeather (horde) and send me an in game message thingy. I'll log in later and see if your about.

Ok made a char called Rainarroo an archer if you didn't guess.

Ha usually I get between about 100 to 200 frames per second with the game maxed out and 1920 by 1080 res, so I thought I'd see what it's like on the lowest settings and res, couldn't do the lowest res because the fraps thing was off the screen so had to so 800 by 600 and my FPS went upto 800, actually peaked at 1000 fps.

That is some serious bug or you've become a gm.

I think I might be a GM.

Na it's something to do with killing a set number of enemies in that cave, it gives a minor boost I'm told it's not as good as the one you are talking about.

Got stuck on a quest tonight, the Trial of Shadow, did the Trial of Water and Fire fine but there was some bug with Shadow, there was supposed to be an alter to start the quest but it was nowhere to be seen. I think maybe it's because there were a few faults with the game download, I'm using the repair program at the moment to see if it is that. Don't think I can get back to the quest though it was on top of a mountain and I was sent there with magic by finishing other trials. I've got other quests there still so I'll go back and see later. Got my first mount now anyway, it's kind of disappointing, I was expecting to move a bit faster, it's possible that it just looks like it's not going fast, it is supposed to be 60% faster than walking.

This morning I got a Phishing mail, I followed the link to contact Blizzard billing and it looked absolutely genuine, even the http// looked genuine, basically it gets you to input your email and pass, and even has links to the genuine battlenet site, fortunately I was suspicious as I’ve not used that account for years so passed it on to Blizzard, they have just confirmed it was an attempt to try and steal my account.

Got around 3 of them currently sitting in my hotmail junk folder, they arrive every other day.

The web address they give you will always look genuine in the email, but you mouseover it and most browers will give you the actual link which will be some silly domain like us.blizzard.info or baftle.net or some such.

I had a message that sais that my account was suspended on Battlenet, which was funny when I googled what Battlenet was because I had only ever had trial accounts on WoW which is the only game I had played which uses Battlenet.
