My 360 has finally bit dust.

My launch 360 has bit the dust. I haven't had a look to see if I can get it fixed for free yet.
I'm off to Las Vegas for a week on Sunday so I wouldn't have been on for the RDR d/l content this weekend anyway. I'll hopefully be back on after I get back and sort out a new one.

Bad luck on 360 mate but it's about time it must be about 1000 years old in 360 years

my 360 is still kickin but i never played it much been usin it to watch dvd manily sometimes soul calibur
whats the deal with that new one it black with wireless built in?
does it play bluray like a ps3?

Ahoy mr9 long time no see, short answer is no, the slim is the same as the old one but with big HD, built in wifi and it's supposed to run cooler and quieter.

I got back earlier today. I'm not sure what to do about a new box though. I'm looking at £120 for a new arcade, or I could hang on for a slim.

Blimmy I see what you mean £120 seams a bit steep for an arcade, considering they were knocking them out for a penny shy of £100 at Christmas, but if you can find a good deal with a game you wanted that could be the way to go.

A good few years of abusing them have resulted in me using them all over the place. Need more /violin and /golfclap in my daily usage though

Got my 360 going again. Tried the old towel trick and it worked a treat. Hope it lasts for another couple of weeks then I can get a new slim.

Well that didn't last long. I got a good nights play out of it, but it keeps freezing every 10 minutes now. Lokks like I'll be getting one of those slims in a week or so.
