    the election Empty the election

    Post by DS9 Fri May 07, 2010 8:39 pm

yeah i know polotics bloody boring and controversial
    here's my thoughts..

i only caught the first telly debate but it was a bit of an eye opener.
clegg the smeg to me seemed more down to earth and actual saying what he was gonna do and how whereas i felt experienced-but-fugly and the rent boy were very patronising.

our lamposts only got labour, snp and some independent candidate.
we only got leaflets through the door from labour and snp.
at the polling station was a labour person
the area i stay in is traditionally labour and people up here havn't forgotten thatcher so it was no surprise that labour won here again

so this hung parliament thing... is that where they are all strung up and we all point and laff and throw things?

Its actually been interesting this time, someone was saying that we might be having another election in a few months. If the torys and lib dem join together that is.

Glad the BNP got b'slapped, though that BNP guy that had a fight with those asian youths was quite impressive (His fight not him, he's a prick).

I expected the lib dems to do really well this time, but it seems everyone that was going to vote for them wimped out.

Still the most important thing is that the page 3 tits are still going to be in their place.

I can understand that to a degree, they didn't expect such a big turn out (They should have had enough papers though). And they were just following the rules they've always followed, they close at 10, so yeah maybe they just didn't know what to do so followed the rules to the letter.

Ok well we have another non-elected PM, ok he did get the most votes but did not offically win the PM job. Ah well lets hope he doesn't screw it up (More).

I got what I wanted anyway, the Labour monkey in my area was removed from position, I don't have anything against Labour just him, I in part blame him for my teacher being crippled. Didn't really want a Tory MP but at least the guy was out on my villages streets in person trying to get votes, didn't see anyone from the other parties doing that (Good thing really I might have punched the Labour one).

actually apparently they want to change it so it's fixed every five years so the next one would be 2015, however bri might have a point if the libs get fed up with the cons they might have to have one sooner
