Hearing a few things I`m not too keen on about the released game,

One character per account

Characters are locked to the ship they are created on

of course, you will be able to get around these hurdles ..... with the cash shop.

Oh great... they've made the mistakes nearly all former pay to play games make being greedy with what they allow to be free... I was afraid of this. I don't know how successful this way of doing it is, I imagine it puts a lot of people off. Personally I was thinking I would spend money on this game, but now I don't really want to, I'd rather them charge full price for the game and then it be free than it being like this.

There is another way around it, make more than one account.

I have to wonder also if they are going to lock content like this how much else is going to be locked, like quests or level caps. Why lock which ships people can play on, thats really stupid, the community is one of the most important things you NEED people to be able to play with each other. Well it might be like WoW and the ships are servers so I guess... meh still annoying.

Well I think I`ll be giving this a miss or at least just try it for a bit, why you ask ?

just for those items for a month is $17

I could maybe accept the player shop being a cash shop item... maybe, but only as a one off payment. But the other things should be free as standard, I mean it would be pretty lame for the guy thats bought a player shop to sell his items but nobody or too few people have bought the auction house, or the other way around. I'm sure a % of people will, there are always people that will do these things.

I'm hoping they are only doing his in Japan and will do things differently over here, I mean the first PSO was a subscription game wasn't it? Or was that V2? In Japan and other than buying the game completely free over here. I doubt that will be the case, but we can hope.
