I suck at this game, it's hard as balls. I've died so many times in the first dungeon, I started on insane difficulty and died against the first monster (I may have quit before the battle ended not sure), I started again on hard and got further but ended up using up all my mana and not being able to kill random mobs let alone the boss. Playing on normal now and I was finding it much easier until I got near the boss and I am struggling to kill random mobs again! I do have all my mana I'm trying to save it for the boss though.

It's a good ol-timey RPG but it runs fast, you get continues so you can restart a battle if you die and when you use them you go straight into the battle no faffing about. It's got some pretty funny dialog, a pretty unique storyline. I don't think there is anything to complain about for the price, I don't like perspective of the battles, it's turn based which I love but you don't see your character, it's done like you are looking at the enemy. That's only problem I have with it even though I'm getting my butt totally kicked, maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

Huzza! I beat that first dungeon on normal, in retrospect I shouldn't have tried to kill everything in the dungeon (There is a maximum number of times you will encounter random battles, you can still fight in that dungeon when you've reached that number but you need to select the fight option in the menu) I was trying to level up as much as possible before reaching the boss but it just wore me down, tactically it would have been better to wait till I reached the save point (You can save at any time but the save point restores your mana, HP isn't a problem you fully regain that after every battle) and then used the fight option, which is a little under hand.

The humour is so good. I should probably pick it back up. Just didn't find the time for it.

I don't recall it being that hard, although some fights could be a pain.

Finding it easy enough now, maybe I was just doing something wrong. Love that the enemies get stronger with each turn.
