I like my special editions but this seems very expensive for what you get. You don't even get any in game items.

Mind you, I did pay £60 for this pile of crap.

Yeah, I'd say thats a little over the top in cost. The Shogun 2 Total War collectors edition contained the same stuff (I don't know if the quality and size of the statue is the same) and that was about £60 I think. I bought the actual value of the stuff is worth that price I'd say 50% of the price is because it's Skyrim (Scrolls scrolls scrolls scrolls scrolls) and there might be enough people crazy enough to pay that much for it, if I was a big fan of that series (I was going to say the series you dare not speak the name of without being sued but I've already said scrolls a lot, so that wouldn't really work) I might think about it, I sure would if it was a Total War game, the only reason I didn't get the Shogun 2 Collectors edition was because I had bought a lot of games at the same time so the cost was a problem, also the chess set collectors edition which I was going to get wasn't nearly good enough quality for the price, I could have bought a really nice set for the same price

P.s. I'm very sorry to hear that you bought Duke Nukem Forever, and the more expensive version at that. At least With Skyrim, I don't think you are very likely to get a truely awful game. You know whats really funny that Duke Nukem game you linked to has a 10 out of 10 rating, it only had one rating, that person is either a troll or is completely delusional.

Can't blame you for that, a problem shared is a problem halved. I did think it might have been you. Servers whoever gets tricked is right though, they should do their research before buying a game. There's more than enough bad reviews of Duke Nukem Forever around now (Every review of Duke Nukem Forever).

I've been thinking about getting Deus Ex, my one concern is that Square Enix, have made (Or had a hand in making, I'm not sure what their involvement is) a lot of piss poor games as of the last few years, and as fair as I've seen they've shown little sign of learning from their mistakes. They released a sequel to the god awful FF13 which had a few changes but not enough to actually improve the game at all, not making a sequel would have been the right thing to do. Apparently they lost a lot of money with one of the MMO FF games, I think they gave a lot of customers their money back because the game was so bad. I think Deus Ex or another game was delayed because of that disaster of a game. This is all from memory, I don't know how much of that is correct (Everything about FF13 being bad was 100% correct and completely understated, it was so bad in all regards bar the graphics).

Anyway I think I'm going to wait until the game is released and reviewed by reviewers I trust before I buy the game, I'm hoping it's been developed by a different team and won't be bad.

Deus Ex got a good review from Machinima, don't really know how good Machinima are at reviewing. Waiting for Angry Joe, and Total Biscuit, the only reason I'm interesting in TB's review is that I saw that he liked the original Deus Ex and I think that he will kick the crap out of the game if it is bad, I just hate listening to his voice.
