Quake Live.

Do you guys know about Quake Live?

It's a browser based game which is basically Quake 3 Arena (On of my favourite games, it cost me sooo much money on the phone bill £100 to £200 I think, maybe more) it was a pay game according to the video I just watched but it went free to play. I've got too much to play right now anyway so can't play it but I'm going to at some point.

I should say it's a browser game that plays in full 3d, in the video I saw it ran at an excellent pace you wouldn't have thought it was played on a brower.

Struggle to see the point of this.
I guess an up to date Quake engine is good. I dunno how intrusive the adverts are, but I'd rather play the original (ad free) version on servers that are usually free anyway. Unless it's flat out broken on modern systems I guess. Servers are still populated by assholes wherever you go.
I was more of a Unreal Tournament guy anyway.
