What are you hoping for in your christmas stocking?

I’ve loads of 360 games under the tree including the Kinect,(already been tested and has surprised me, I was very sceptical but it’s a lot better than the wii !!) looking forward to Enslaved & Vanquish, also got Black Ops, So will be busy.Very Happy

Happy Christmas to you all. santa

Lucky, I've not really been bothering much with Christmas this year. I've had money and a couple of things I don't know about. I'm getting myself a carbon fibre groin guard though after all these years of being kicked in the nuts I'm not sure there's much point anymore. And I suppose I might as well count the PC I'm getting at the end of Jan (Unless the price drops before then).

I've still got to get some people some stuff, but I may just give them money. I'm going to pay for some building worth for my parents sometime this year and also there's a show they want to go and see, so I'll send them to that whenever it comes around. It's hard to get my sister anything because she lives in Germany, with money it gets wasted on conversion and electrons have different plugs etc. I may just wait until I see her and let her pick something on Amazon and have it sent to her address.

i was wonderin the other day if anyone had that kinnect thingy. you think microsoft and sony could get an idea of their own for once. the reason i have a 360 is so i can enjoy proper gaming with none of that exercise nonsense cheers.

i only have one 360 controller so i got a 2nd the other day so i can enjoy some multiplayer over the holidays with the family. also picked up the two old rb6 vegas games on the cheap so i been playin them.

After about 5 hours play time on Fallout NV I'm stuck, and I can't be arsed to un-stuck myself as the game is as dull as ditch water.

Aye I heard it took a few hours before things got going, I was enjoying the first Fallout until another game distracted me and now when I go back I cant get into it and it looks really bland. Still tempted to try FNV now it’s around the £15 mark.

Black ops - I finished the sp campaign on normal in only 3 sittings!!, it was ok but not as good as BF2, but what’s stopped me from trading it straight back is the online combat training, you can practice the maps with bots that have the names of peeps on your friends list, freaked me out at first to see a replay of DS9 shooting me in the backside! But getting a chance to walk the maps and try the upgrades as you level is a nice touch, though unfortunately none of it carries over to true pvp.

    Other xmas wonder:

Enslaved – very good but a bit clunky and you cant die on the platform sections, I’ve almost finished it but I like it enough to go back through it on hard as it keeps your upgrades.
Fen, you might want to look into this I think it has a 3D mode.

Vanquish – only done the first couple of levels, its like Gears of War on speed, like what I’ve seen so far.

Kinectimals - very cute, good mini games, the only Kinect game to get the wife jumping around.

Kinect Sports – its by Rare and it shows, not done much need to get the Christmas tree out the way first, but was very impressed with boxing and football.

Yeah, I started training session and thought I'd joined an online game with some of the people on my friends list. Only for a few seconds but it was a bit odd. Very Happy

A friend of mine is pestering me to get Black Ops, I might this Thursday. I want to get it by trading in some of my old PS3 games, doubt I'll get enough to pay for the price sticker though let alone the game.

I've had some interest in Enslaved because of it's Monkey ties, the 3D would be just gravy. I'll take a look see if it is in S3D.

My groin guard has been sent, I'll take some pics when it arrives (In situe).

Looks like 3D isn’t included in the main game, you can only enable it after buying the “Pigsy's Perfect 10” dlc, not to bad as it’s a new story with different game play and Pigsy is very comical in the main so probably worth having.

Finished Enslaved last night, good ending as good as any sifi movie I’ve seen.

    Thank You Santa santa

Oh yeah completely forgot about that, I looked at that DLC and saw that it was 3D. Yeah got to love Pigsy, I might take a look around see if I can find that game cheap if I go into town tomorrow.
