Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance & Fighter in the Wind Empty Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance & Fighter in the Wind

Got these two DVD's the other day, I've seen Fighter in the Wind before it is maybe my favourite martial arts movie. If you like martial arts or even computer game history watch it, the movie is based on a real person and Ryu from Street Fighter is also based on that person.

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is one of the great movies that have come out of South Korea in recent years (As a side note if you watch this movie you'll piss off Kim Jong-Il as he has directed his own movies and well doesn't like South Korea). The movie is about a deaf mute boy who's sister needs a kidney, he's trying to get a kidney for her and becomes involved in the organ black market, and him and his terrorist girlfriend (I haven't seen anything that makes her a terrorist) kidnap a businessmans daughter to raise money for his sisters organ transplant. I haven't finished watching the movie yet, fairly sure I'm near the end. A warning though the director of this movie doesn't do happy endings, at least not in his vengeance series (Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Lady Vengeance).

I confess that my main interest in Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is the name of the movie, great name.
