Nope, I've heard one of those "Later tonight after Family Guy, watch Sherlock Holmes", and thats all I know about it, and I haven't really had the desire to find out more. I liked that movie which came out not so long ago but not really interested in a tv show.

I watched this tonight, partly because of this topic, partly because it was on before Top Gear (They are on the same channel on BBC HD if you didn't know). Yeah its not bad, I like the last Sherlock Holmes movie but I'm glad they didn't go the same way and make him an ass kicking machine. Fairly good, I might try and watch the next episode (I only noticed it tonight because of Top Gear and thats ended now, seems like it had a very short series this time).

Episode 3 is good so far, I'm about half way through. I think the BBC usually try things out with one or two episodes before they give something the longer series (Which I think is still a short series of six episodes).

well quite frankly somebody at bbc needs their arse spanked. they waste money on stupid shit all the time yet when they make quality telly like this they don't commission enough episodes.

    Sensible hat on…..

You have to remember that this was probably commissioned during a time when shows like Prime Evil on the other side where being axed.

Just thought I'd mention they are indeed planning a 2nd series and the last episode had 7.3 million folk watching!
Apparently they plan to keep the 90 minute episodes format too.

Really enjoyed this I have to say and can't wait for the next series Very Happy

I haven't seen the first episode yet, I may go back on watch that. It was a good series look forward to seeing the second series. I need to watch the second series of Being Human as well, I completely ignored that dispite liking the first series a lot.

I think they will always be careful with the first series, even things that seem like they can't fail to be hits sometime flop.

Just watched the first of the three new episodes. Very good, only problem was it's been so long since I saw the last episode of the first series that I don't remember who some of the people are or exactly what was happening at the end of the last series. I don't know if they did this, but Skyone usually shows the last series of something before the new series starts it would have been nice if that had happened, I haven't watched much TV recently so I've no clue if they did. I don't think the BBC do that though.

oh yes it's bloody good stuff. glad to see it back again. it's very well done.
unfortunately only 3 episodes again but i guess quality over quantity is fine.

the first series is out on dvd and also i imagine available to stream

the first episode of the 2nd series is on bbc iplayer

That first episode was basically a movie so if the others are as long I don't think we can really complain about there being only 3.
